Germany Pick From 5
Well we finally have our first bit of news from one of the "BIG 4".
German TV Broadcaster NDR have announced today some of their plans which will decide who will represent them in the Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. It seems that NDR have decided that they are going to choose from 5 songs this time rather than 3 which is the number of songs performed in their last 2 National Finals.
Germany have over the years have sent some absolute classics (in my opinion.
More recently however German entries have not received the positions in the final which they have deserved. Texas Lightning finished 14th in Athens with "No No Never" and Roger Cicero finished 19th in Helsinki with "Frauen regier'n die Welt".
Hopefully German fortunes along with those of the other members of the "BIG 4" UK, France and Spain changes for the better in Belgrade.
