and it was announced on Armenian TV earlier today. They also confirmed that they will be holding a national final with 5 songs and the public will choose the winning song that Sirusho will take with her as the Armenian Entry. Eurovision fans may remember her from 2007 as being the Armenian Spokesperson. Another female with a good voice.............this could be an interesting contest already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SORRY for not being as regular with updates on the blog over the past couple of months, unfortunately personal issues have overtaken both myself and Colin which has meant less time to deal with the blog and reply to any comments or information given. As of today both of us will now be making regular updates on the blog and would appreciate any comments or information that you have. Once Again Sorry Paul & Colin
Its been 42 years now since Austria lifted the Eurovision crown with the song "Merci Cherie" which was sung by Udo Jurgens and now it would seem that ORF the Austrian Broadcaster will be making it 43 years as they have announced that they will not be sending a song to Moscow in 2009. What is more worrying for me is that some really good songs and good quality singers didn't get rated well by so-called expert juries. I understand that they still have to vote for songs they like, but surely the juries should be considering quality and structures of songs, quality of voice etc. w...
